Tren weakens the immune system?

I have read before that tren weakens the immune system. I have always been sceptical about this. However, 6 weeks into my tren enanthate cycle, I got food poisoning (a bacterial infection) and an abscess (not related to unsterile injection, it was a perianal abscess requiring surgical drainage.)

Abscesses can be a sign that the immune system is impaired.

Does anyone know whether trenbolone does actually impair the immune system? Any articles to support this?

I believe that all steroids weaken the immune system. Thats one of the most common side effects. And I would assume that since tren is exponentially more potent than all other compounds, it would weaken your immune system even more as well.

I suspect that what you are referring to as a "perinanal abscess" is actually a Pilonidal Cyst. Once it is filled with pus its called a Pilonidal Abcess but it's not the same as an abscess from bad gear. Usually it's at the base of the tail bone and is filled with hair and pus. Hurts like a bitch too. It's the ingrown hair that causes it. This is actually very common in men in their late thirties and early forties. It has nothing to do with your tren cycle. It's just bad luck.

For sure it does. In addition to that, it just completely killed my appetite as well. I believe this is due to the fact it knocked my enzymes production out of whack.

I will never ever run tren again without :

1 - digestive enzyme support
2 - liver/kidney detox supplements

In a word, yes, from my experience. My last time running it I got a cyst undder my ear that went away afterwards and I also had a cold in the middle of the summer after coming off for two fucking weeks. Considering I am haven't taken a sick day since 05', I would say I'm in pretty good health.There is a thread somewhere here where a guy blamed tren for some very serious health problems. It's a great read if you can find it.
