so i currently have one back day, on tuesdays, a leg and bicep day, and 2 pressing days ("chest day" and "shoulder/tricep day")
i used to do weighted pullups like mad, but got lazy with them and switched to primarily rows and lat pulldowns as my back workout, and will be alternating weeks with powercleans and deadlifts.
i recently talked with some people who strongly believe in high volume pullup workouts to make your back awsome, so i wanted to add them in without compromising my other lifts.
originally i was thinking of alternating bent over barbell rows and pullups, but now im thinking of adding in some pullups as a warmup at the beginning of my LEG DAY, since i work biceps (i dont pound them, just do around 6 high rep sets). i would shoot for a target amount of pullups in a target amount of sets, each leg day, then move onto my legs. it would not take me very long (probably around 5 or so minutes) since i will be focusing on pullup endurance and ability to just bang them out, rather than doing a crazy amount of weight.
so basically i would be having a regular back day on tuesdays, and then 50 or so unweighted pullups on friday before i start working legs. i figure if anything, i will become awsome and jacked at doing pullups.
do you guys think this sounds like a good idea to try, or will it be too much
