Totally Lame Injury

Ok, this is laughable. I possibly broke my 4th toe on my left foot at work last night. Swollen, bruised all around, hurts to walk, etc etc yes it's lame. Not a big deal, but I train in tae kwon do 3 times a week.
I'm doing the ice, elevation, NSAIDS...I haven't tried taping it to my 3rd toe yet, but will when I return to class.

Anyone have suggestions on speeding the healing process?

Not much point in the x-rays. Even if they determine it's broke, they'll just tape it. Mike, I think you're doing everything right. Mostly it's going to be living with the problem for how ever long it takes to heal.

If it's broke you need to get it checked out. Taping it to your other toe will keep it straight, but the bone may not be set right thus it will heal all whack.

I don't think I'll waste time and taxpayer money with an xray of a broken 4th toe. I'd probably just get a lecture from the doc, anyways. I am able to walk, although with nagging pain.
I will tape it when I make it back to TKD class, which is tomorrow. It's frustrating, I'd like to do more than ice/rest/NSAID, but I think those are my only options.
