Torn lower back.....will AAS help?

Damn the heavy deadlifts!!!!!!!!!:redhot:

I have only spoken to a doc in the emergency room thus far, but I was told I tore the ligaments in my lower back. I will go see my chiropractor soon but I need your opinions.

I was about to start my "goodies" on Monday. Assuming I rest it for a week and go to physical therapy, and get EMS therapy, etc., would AAS help my back to heal any faster?
I know that GH could speed up the recovery process, but I can't afford that at this time. Any suggestions? I need to get back in the gym as soon as possible.:bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

for god sake dont start now aas inhibits the growth of ligiment and tendons there is no telling what it will do to already injured conective tissue plus if the injury is what your tellin me youve got to rest.

also im a great believer in chiropractic but if its torn lig and tend the cannot help and might aggravate the problem

stick with md on this one dont use your juice yet and if he says surgery get a second opinion

The only way to tell if you have torn ligaments is through an MRI..If you fo the best, safest way to heal is time and rest...Sucks but it happens...I was in a cast for torn lig's in my ankle..Just made me eat better.....If your in pain ask a doc for FLEXERIL it is a Godsend for back pain....Good Luck..MAGZ

You need to save your juice for when your injury is totally healed. Otherwise you could do further damage to your back. Until you know exactly what is wrong with your back you should stay out of the gym. I know it is hard to do, but it is better to go ahead and let your body heal rather than prolonging the recovery process by continuing to work out. Good luck bro.

Prolotherapy will rapicly speed up the healing process of tendon/ligiments, worked wonders for me. You can get some general details at prolotherapy.com

Thanks bros for all your suggestions. I guess for now I'm going to continue to rest it, but I insist on taking a proactive approach to recovery so I will definitely look into the prolotherapy Zyg! Thanks again! :D
