torn calluses

How can you bandage a torn callus so that the bandage lasts the rest of the workout? is there a particular technique? everything i try just comes off after 10 mins O lifting!
 
I have/had the same problem. especially on my thumbs from the hook grip. it is
getting better though. I dont really have a solution and I doubt that there is
something u can really do against it...
 
Nothing really works that good that I have found. Tape them up can work but for how long? Just try to keep your callouses trimmed down witha pumice stone or something. And make sure to moisturize your hands after working out, especially if you use chalk a lot.
 
Band-Aid brand makes a liquid bandage a little like superglue, I haven't used it on calluses, but it holds cuts on my fingers together pretty well while lifting.
 
i always see people saying how they "tear" their calluses. are you guys actaully ripping skin to where it bleeds or is your callus just comming off leaving the rest of the skin underneath there? i lose calluses all the time, but ive never ripped one and bled from it.

yeah they rip and leave an open cut underneath, it had never happened to me until i started O lifting. i guess its just a case of your hands getting used to the movement and making sure the calluses are trimmed down so they dont catch. Ive managed to work out how to tape them now so that the bandages stay on!
