Torn ACL, MCL What to do now???

I was playing football last Sunday and blew out my knee. The thing here is I am on my 5th week of my cycle. Do you guys think its OK to continue on and just do upper body? I also shoot in the thighs do you think its OK to shoot in the same leg that the knee is on ???? My cycle is only Decca/winni.

I wouldn't think that it would hurt , but if your not going to be rehabing your knee then the other one is going to get bigger , it will get bigger anyhow from working alone and your hurt leg will get smaller from not working at all , so it might exadurate the effect a little.

BRO you realy need to check into getting a EMS unit , you can use it on your hurt leg and it will stop alot of the loss from not useing it.
Ask your doc , he will probably lend you a "tens unit"

and get at least two second oppinions before somebody cutts you
most injuries can be fixed through Ortho Scoppic surgery , there is hardly a reason to cut open you knee anymore but some docs will "usualy older docs" because they arn't familiar.
 
EMS is like thos little pads that you put on your abs to ripp them up (you can see them in the back of any BB mag.)

it sends electricty into the muscle and causes it to flex
and you say so.
well if you flex a muscle 500 times a day and hold that flex for 10 seconds that muscle will not get smaller , it sounds painfull but you can regulate the current , the only thing is if you get it up to high it will cramp that muscle instantly.

I used one for three weeks while on vacation , when I got back I had lost nothing.

just look in the back of a BB magizine , they range from 100 to600
dollars. The ones with like four pads and 2 outlets will be all you need , E-mail me if you want any recomendations on one
 
Ok guys this is the update.

I go to surgery on the 24th and the doc said that I would be in bed after the surgery for at least 2 weeks. Well so far I have been going to the gym and just working upper body. My question here is... What effect will this have on my cycle and what will the effect of the pain med.'s and anti-inflammatory have on me. Should I lower the dose to just maintain?
Should I tell my doc I am in the middle of a cycle and get his advise or should I just keep going on the cycle and try to get back in the gym in 2 weeks. I am also going to ask him for an EMS. Who knows what he will say about that? What do you guys think?
 
I was back in the gym 4 days after my ACL was done. I could only do upper body, but if your not gonna stop your cyle, you may on ly lose about a week of training, and the gear will help prevent muscle loss, and aid in your rehab. DO YOUR REHAB completely and go balls out with it. Good luck
