They jumped the shark at "One Of These Nights". Prior to that they were a very good little country-rock band. But they couldn't compete with Disco, so they took the path of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and became overtly, calculatedly commercial.
They jumped the shark when making a good song? "One of These Nights" is one of their best songs. So fucking what if it isn't country-rock song you would expect from them.
