Top 10 suck ass Presidents in U.S. History

I do think Barry is the worst, however, giving him the benefit since he is still in office we will let him slide until he is ousted in Nov. Then we will put him in the number 1 slot...

lbj was a good man and meant well...the war on poverty and vietnam forever doomed him though.

LBJ was absolutely not a good man nor did he mean well, he was a by-product of FDR. There are three presidents that we know at the history dept. everything about their presidencies because they wrote everything down (Kennedy, LBJ, and Nixon). LBJ's "war on poverty" was the second part of the New Deal. He started "food stamps, public housing (projects), Medicare, and Medicaid and one the worst safety nets in this countries history "welfare in the highest form." Mothers could stay on welfare as long as they wanted. Hell, I am pretty sure able bodied males were allowed to receive welfare in the 60s and 70s.. for an extensive period. He was definitetly a main contributor to making people get hooked on the opium of entitlements, and he was definitely a socialist

As for Nam, he signed the document that started the Vietnam conflict. Kennedy was pulling out advisors, leading indicator we did not belong there. The Domino theory was/is false, going overt in Nam had to do with multinationalism.. Check out: The Fog of War - it is a documentary about Robert McNamara. He was Kennedy and LBJ's Secretary of Defense, he tells all, and there are actual recorded phone conversations between him and LBJ, the one recording McNamara is trying to tell LBJ it is not worth it to go overt in Nam, and LBJ is pressing him to come up with an excuse to go overt in Nam - LBJ was a war monger...

LBJ, doomed himself because like FDR he was worried about establishing a legacy, in other words, he was a quintessential politician. Of course, at the expense of other people, like every other dictator in history...

So...yes the Bush clan didnt make any big improvements for the average american, but what they did do (right or wrong) is to break the cycle of military complacency...I feel (again right or wrong) that they told the world "the US can and will call you on your bullshit, and come kick your ass in your own yard) I know the myriad of arguments about the legitimacy of reasons, as I have said, right or wrong, there still was an impact on the rest of the worlds thugs and bullies, and it did command at least some thought by these other countries that the US has the capability and the balls to come slap you. As far as the whole "wmd's" and other conspiracy theories go, theres gotta be a little more thought and logic behind it, we focus on this one "reason or lack of reason" but believe there were a lot of other things that never came to light that made these things happen. Problem is that the publicized reasons most likely were not the real reasons (ok they were definitely not the real reasons) And yes, sometimes "we" are the bully, however is bullying the bully really being a "bully"?

George Bush proved sweet fuck all to the world , other than the fact that he was a simple minded SOB that couldnt find his ass with both hands and his daddies help.
and by the way the wmd's were not a "conspiracy theory" - bush said they had them....but he was full of shit.
