just broke another PR.

let me tell you..
psychologically, i felt like shit these 4 days.
but physically, came back strong as a bull in heat!

i spoke with a good bro who competes and he mentioned taking 4-5 days off every 6-8 weeks.

give it a shot.

Yeah bro,
I had been hitting it really hard for about 7 weeks and then we got this hurricane last week and kept me out of the gym for 4 days. On Tuesday I went back and boy oh boy I felt like I had taken a little vacation and was so refreshed.I had amazing workouts since. A couple days off does wonders! From time to time of course.

I take 4-5 days off every week. :)

I always TAKE one FULL week of rest AFTER 8 weeks of very intense lifting .

so , it is 8 weeks on and 1 week off . ;)

I've got a bro who's running through his 3rd cycle and says he is going in and just thrashing at the gym for three days and then taking 4 days off. He said his body is responding like mad and he feels great. I started running a similar workout (natural) and even my strength gains were through the roof. It must be the rest the body loves.
