Too much sediment in fina?

Wow, shit like that worries me. He couldn't have done that correctly.

Yep. Methyl-cellulose is just an organic fibre.

Bake it at about 250F.

The Methyl-cellulose will stick to the bottom of the vial. Then you can filter out the Fina to another clean vial using a .22 or .45 micron filter.

Agree with Fonz - I also typically let mine settle in a cool dark place for about 1 week, and by that point all the remaining sediment is usually stuck to the bottom of the vial, then I filter it into a new vial.

PS: I'm in no rush so a week doesn't bother me, 24hrs is probably sufficient though.
 
dont even think about starting the process with a .22 though. make sure youve got a few .45's handy-looks like theres going to be some clogging, even if you let it settle and draw out the rest.
