ok...my gf started getting a sore throat and she had tonsillitis in the past. close to exam time so i decided to use oraldene (chlorohexetidine) mouthwash to kill anything i might have picked up
i did get a slight sore throat but no tonillar inflammation
anyway it appears i overused the oraldene and i got some ulceration of the palate.
in addition i got raised lumps on the posterior 1/3 of my toungue, which im assuming are the lingual tonsills...can they be inflammed by irritant chemicals? they are a little sore and look red, some more sore and raised than others...
either way i switched to salt water which i probably should have originally used to gargle (i was afraid of EBV which is why i went for an antimicrobial gargle)...either way the sore throat is back and myright tonsil has a small bump on it and kinda feels sore when swallowing...
gargle with salt? or switch back to the oraldene being careful not to let it burn? im worried if i get tonsillitus i;ll be screwed for the exam (i HAVE to be able to talk fluently and at length)
