Damn Jacob... that is definately going out on a ledge, he is tough, but , I wouldn't make that call. I think Shogun would be a good dark horse call, he's like Arona, but with more intensity. My fav fight of the night : Igor vs Overeem (who is underated & is an awesome striker). I know Liddell knocked out Overeem with a wild punch, but before that, Overeem had Chuck rocked several times. Anyone notice that Pedro "the rock" Rizzo is on the card... I predict he will lose.

Shogun is nothing like Arona. Arona can shoot, gnp, wrestle, and is a top tier submission artist. His striking is a bit clumbsy, but ever improving. Arona's biggest weakness is a slight lack of killer instinct.

Between Silva and Arona, it all comes down to the clinch. Anyone who can fight in a clinch can give Silva problems ala Yoshida.

Jacob, I see lots of similarities between styles of Shogun & Arona. In fact, all the shoot box academy fighters have some similar approaches to their art. They are all fun to watch & are well versed in many areas. We shall see how they do, as both are in the final four. Wow ! how bout that standing choke by Overeem on Igor. I would love to see Overeem win this thing, definately a long shot. Lots of good fights in this event. This Russian guy that beat Rizzo is awesome. I predict that he will be right there with Crocop, Fedor, etc, as one of the best heavyweights very soon. Crocop vs Fedor in August will be scary... I pick Fedor.
