Dan Quayle is an exceptional individual and a strong leader who was assisinated by the liberal press and turned into a villan from there----much like they are attempting to do to John Ashcroft!

I hope most here recognize this post as saying NOTHING about either Quayle or Ashcroft and instead see it as it truly is, a statement of approbation for these men. In other words, "I like Dan Quayle and John Ashcroft."

No problem with that. Could you offer some concrete reasons why you like them?

he is right about the liberal press killing his public approval and his reputation. the fucking heat they brought down on him for criticizing the show murphy brown, about her having a child out of wedlock. the press had a field day with making fun of someone who has some moral integrity. And if that wasnt enough, they made such a big deal about him spelling potato with an e at the end, which is actually correct or was at one point. they were insulting his inteligence over that and making a much bigger issue out of it than it should have been.
