Tolerance to vitamins or supplements?

I've heard of the theories about receptor downgrade or upgrade, but does any of it apply to the additional items you take while cycling. The products I'm most curious about are:

2000mg/day cranberry extract
1500mg/day milk thistle
500mg/day alpha lipoic acid
5000mg/day flax seed oil
10000mg/day L-glutamine
2000mg/day Vitamin C
and other multi-vitamins

After a while of taking these amounts while cycling, would you have to take more the next time to get the same results (to protect the various organs)?
Also, what amounts are recommended for these when you are NOT cycling? Thanks! :wavey:
 
I usually take half the recommended dose when I'm off. Just because I figure it can help some, and I start the full doses about one to two weeks before my cycle. But as you can tell I'm no chemical engineer, I just figure this way should keep my system happy enough!!!
