Today, trying something new.

I usually do my run at about 4am. I like having the streets to myself. But today, I am going around noon. It has been hella hot here and I am just wondering if I can take the heat. I hope I don't die. I hope I'm not found, dead, by some old lady walking her dog. This is gonna be fun. Or it's gonna REALLY suck.

True Dat. Well, let's just see how it goes. I ran in the heat in high school. Miles and miles...... but that was almost 10 years ago. I think I'm still in really good shape. I'm gonna check it out.

you should run with as little close on as posable.you know so you dont get hot.

I actually wait until it's sunnier and hotter to run. The sweat and pure torture kind of motivates me. I love it.

ya thats like fucken with the blankits on in the middle of a hot day.lol

I always run half naked, lol. If it's chilly outside, sometimes I wear a sweat shirt over my sportsbra but after running for about 10 minutes, it's usually tied around my waist.

I can't imagine running in the heat we've had.....good luck.... :worried:

Thanx, girl. I will post about it when I get back. It's always good to change it up a bit. When I get back, I will probably scarf down one of the recipes I got from your thread. YUM! Or maybe I will just puke from the heat. I hope not. :worried:

The only thing I really worry about is the humidity. I hate running when the air is thick. I don't know what state you reside in but midwest humidity SUX! It's like trying to inhale through jello.

DAMN!!!! That's nucken FUTZ!

I run in the air conditioned gym with a big fan blowing on me and still complain. I'm a big puss. lol.

OK, I'm back. That kinda sucked but not as bad as expected. There was this big, yellow-orange, roundish thing in the sky that kept pissing me off. It made my eyes hurt and I couldn't get away from it. I did sweat a lot more than when I run at 4am. I feel like I sweated away about 5 pounds of valuable water. I keep drinking water but my mouth is still dry. Now, my belly is full of water but my mouth is still dry. This sux. I gave myself a belly ache.

Yep, that's humidity. I go there, a lot. My dad's side of the family is from the east coast. I like it there a lot better than where I live but it IS humid. :worried:

In the farm lands?
No, lol. I have never even been to a farm. I rode a horse, once, at the zoo.
I live in Kansas City. It's a little bit smaller than St. Louis. People are always shocked to see buildings and stuff when they come here. They think it's farm land..... but I have never even seen a farm.

:worried: Haven't you guys been having a lot of probs with storms, power outages, etc??

Run some for me next time!

We have THE WORST storms. We have snow storms in the winter that knock out the electricity in thousands of homes. We have floods. Summer time gets over 100 and super humid. It's hard to plan anything in spring or fall because one day will be sunny and 90 degrees, then the next day will be 52 degrees and storming. It sux.

I don't know how to make the pics bigger. But as u can see, kc is not the biggest city but it's not just farm land. I have never seen any.
