Once you sign the papers there is a feeling of relief.
When we went throug the formal process where they read the points of your divorce aloud and ask, "....and there is no hope of reconciliation." I was in tears but managed to say, "NO WAY IN HELL."
It will take you about a year or so to begin to find yourself again once you get over the sadness at how things *could have been* if you both had made different choices. But once you realize that you get a whole new opportunity to redefine and rediscover YOU, you'll see, it will actually be fun...
Get your head fixed, heal your heart and the rest will fall into place.
