over the genetic limit will eventually be lost with my experience, it took 2 years for me to drop back down to my natural limit, but it happened. Now its time to have some fun again.

Oh damn! Good answer, I like that!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with this! Anyone have any studies showing that genes set limits on gaining potential? Or is this just a made up story from people who can't keep their gains? Not bashing anybody, but would like to see some evidence.

studies?...... i think looking at a true natty bodybuilder versus mr olympia competition's will surely give a real scene. i can tell you when i am all natural, i bust my ass trying to keep my self at 187 and thats with a little higher body fat. I eat my 8 meals a day and do whatever i can to keep the size and strength i gained (except my lower body, that is always strong and just gets stronger) now i am on cycle, 194 with a lower bodyfat and i can screw off on the diet when i feel like it. i can say i have never in my life ever weighed over 195. even on my deca cycle with all the water weight i got to 195. right now take 500mg test and 400mg primo, i can say 195 will not be broken by the end of this cycle. genetic limit, and a limit as too hold much i can hold while still being a functional person is very real for me. i am also a verry thin framed person to start with.
throgh my experience i say yes, your frame can hold x and then no more.

Well lets say before I started I was 234lbs with about 14% bf, now about 254lbs havent checked my bf this was my first cycle, I believe that if you do two cycles a year, Bulking and Cutting you can keep most of your gains. When you off you just try to maintain what you get till your natural test levels are up and running and PCT I think plays a major role

Obviously AAS help your gaining potential; I wasn't disputing that. The question is whether you can keep your gains. My friend did 3 cycles over 3 years ago and he is still huge as hell. I actually think he's gained since. I also know for a FACT that he hasn't used and AAS since then. He was small to begin with and now he's not. So when someone says you will lose your gains no matter what, I tend to believe they're full of sh&$.

i can keep the gains i get usually all the way out to 8 weeks past the cycle. then the hardness is gone and i lose some of the size. i end up keeping all the strength except for my chest area.

its like a gradual thing. i remeber i ended a cycle in january once, picked up again in august but was back where i was only slightly bigger than when i was in january, but i wasn't as strict on the diet then.

i think the genetic limit plays a huge role in maintaining, but i also feel that the genetic limit can be manipulated by factors such as your diet. if you continue to beat it your limit will have a higher and higher bar, but there is a point when it is impractical. i hope this makes sense

Ya I can agree with this. And I do believe that some people are more inclined to keep gains better than others. There are also a lot of external factors such as diet, recreational drugs, alcohol etc, sleep, etc. Gotta stay on top of everything to get the best results. I know my buddy did.
