To enlist, after a war is declared...

I am not currently in the Military. I'm 24, and didn't join because it has been pretty peaceful for the last 6 years. My question is if there were a war, and we were going to fuck up these Paki's, what do the branches do with their Boot Camps? I would assume they would be shortened/intensified and so forth. Do any of you have any input? Cause, I'll tell you... We go to war, I go to war.

Marine corps bootcamp will be shortened to 10 weeks, and you won't go to follow up training....you will go where you are needed.

I'm sitting here filling out my paperwork to submit my package to Air Force OTS. My decision to get commsioned (4 years enlisted) came before this incident. My resolve to do my part in protecting this country is more solid now than ever,

Do you go straight into the infantry MOS?

I would literally kill to be able to join the Corps if the country went to war before I was of age to enlist on my own. No sense in finishing HS if the country is at war. That shit can wait.
