an idea that i believe would help out, would be instead of listing ALL THE MODS at the top.....WHY NOT list ONLY the ones that are logged in at their current time, so when someone comes onto the boards they know exactly what mods are on the board currently..........

....ive had alot of mail lately asking about when certain mods are usually on, or is it safe to ask this mod for advice even though he's only seen his name once or twice.......

What about adding your favorite mods to your buddy list, then you would see when they are on.

On the index page (the one which lists all of the boards), there is a list at the bottom of all currently active users -- including moderators. You can check there to see who is on. It's not as convenient as your suggestion, but it works.
