I think 2-5 days is ok. If you wait too long then she'll wonder what happened to you and just give up. If, however, you say that you are going to call at a certain time / day, please make sure you. I'm w/ Fonz, dating totally sucks and it is a complete mind game, but I personally think you are best off just being yourself. If you start acting like you are playing the game, then either you will get sick of it or she will.
The only thing I've ever asked of anyone I am interested in getting to know is that they respect me at least as a friend -- if you say you are going to call, do it. Don't fuckin lie to me and waste my time. That's a guarantee that I won't respect you as a friend and will be pretty sure you are just full of shit and have no integrity. If you aren't interested anymore, then that's fine, but be straight up about it. I respect that in people.

1.Call her as soon as you get home and every 10 min from there on.
Look her number up on the internet to get her address, start doing drive by's as soon as possable( you want her to know you are interested).
2.Follow her to work so the next time you see her you can tell her how pretty she looked and what she was wearing on that day, when she asks you how you know all that just pretend you are from the psychic hotline.
3.Dig a tunnel directly under her house so you can sneak in and watch her when she is sleeping, and leave notes around the house so she starts to get paranoid.
Then when she is all freaked out , just call her up real casual like and see how she is doing.
At this point she will ask you to come over, and you will probably get laid.(if your not in Jail)
