TKD/NYC stack help...

I'm currently running a TKD and taking NYC (2 weeks on followed by 2 weeks of ECA). My question is: how can I utilize the NYC stack on training days. You see- I train first thing in the morning. I take [inhale] 6 rolls of 'Sweet Tarts' before training. I also want to take NYC before working out as well. However, I know that the Sweet Tarts are going to shoot up my insulin levels and therefore negate the effects of yohimbine (it doesn't work as well when insulin is present). Should I just skip on the NYC before training and take it after. Or, is there another way I can go about this?

Maybe you can try to eat something that might not spike insulin. As for taking NYC with insulin present, it really is not a good idea. I compared results while on a low carb diet to a normal one and the results convinced me. I think it would be better if you waited atleast 90 min after eating high carb foods. You will get better results. yohimbine really does not work well otherwise.

You could always skip the sweet tarts?

Good luck!!!:D

Thanks for the information trial0rzgrl. About skipping the Sweet Tarts. If I did that- I'd just be following a SKD (Atkins type diet). The whole point of a Targeted Ketogenic Diet is to take in some form of carbohydrates [thus, providing some energy for the workout] before training (preferably high-glycemic) without disrupting ketosis for very long.
