Hello...I am new here and this is my first post so I'll start by introducing myself i guess... Im an 18 yr old girl living in miami...in college here...heavy into working out/swimming and things like that....i am an exercise physiology/biology major.
I have been struggling with eating now for a few years....i was anorexic/exercise bulimic and have now shifted more to binge/compulsive overeating...in the past year i have gained about 60 pounds...dont get excited....it is fat.....
i am tired of living this life of HELL and want to get in gear and get cut up again and stop all this crap.... i know that the reason i overeat and binge now is because the way i look makes me so sick...i am dying to get lean and cut again...
i need a good diet with drastic results quick......any suggestions? i need to write out exactly what and in what quantities i am going to eat everyday so i can do it....so something basic...like chicken/green veggies u know the deal but i need help mostly with quatntites and such....
anyone with suggestions please write me back....
thanx a milllion!!!!

Ok that diet looks like just about what i am looking for....
only problem is i dont eat steak or any red meat but i can cut it with chicken and tuna???
also when you are calculating your calories do u do it by how much you want to weigh or how much you weigh now????

i have been through a lot of therapy.....i have dealt with my issues...now i am just so wrapped up in it and need to let it go....its possible....trust me.....

Well what's wrong with red meat?? Do what you have to I suppose - but if you don't follow Crum's advice to the letter - you can't complain if you don't get the results he speaks about......

...as for calculating calories - that's based on how much you presently weigh....

stay mostly with your chicken, tuna, fish, oatmeal, potatoes, brown rice......5-6 meals aday, maybe even some ECA,have carbs in the morning and less as the day goes on,there is a lot of good knowledge on this board ...welcome!!!......:D

You have to watch what you wish for:

"Dying to get lean" - "Drastic results quick"

Drastic measures are what you are willing to do and the only thing you will achieve in the long term may be dying. An even distribution of weights and cardio, mixed with a healthy low calorie diet, "Weight Watchers is a good and easy example to follow" I like to speed things up minimally by throwing in a one week low carb diet once a month or so. Usually on Weight Watchers you loose 1-2 pounds, low carbing 5 lbs in one week- thats about 10 - 11 lbs a month which is pretty respectable. Weight watchers allows you to eat high carb, low carb. high protein, whatever, it's all about your points for the day and you quickly learn the short cuts that allow you to eat more for less points. My fav though for weight loss is that for every 20 mins of cardio you do you earn 1 more point which you can bank for a week. They allow you to use up to 10 addittional points at any time if you have them banked. This is my weekly Burger King run for supper. Some times I splurge on nacho's yum. Good Luck. You don't even need to go to meetings or pay the big bucks, You can get the 1-2-3 points cook book at a book store and it gives an outline of the program and the rest you can find on the web, lot's of info online even fast food points if your on the go..
