Tips on Sliver Removal Please

Good morning to all - I have a sliver stuck in the heal of my foot. Spin class at 2:00 I've tried tweezing, and it basically just broke off and now it's stuck in there below the skin ... I'm digging at it with no success. Should I be soaking it in something?

what material is the sliver? glass? wood? metal? depending on what kind will determine how easily it will get infected. example of something serious a splinter from a boat dock that has wood treated with creasode, my friend left one in his foot and got seriously poisoned resulting in major meds. but when you dif it out make damn sure you have all of it and soak in epsons like everone else said, if red and warm to touch for more than two days you didn't get it all

i think it's wood from a floor - it's fairly small but right in my heel
