That is not true. PO's where I live all have 4 year degrees, are in the work to help people, are sworn state police officers and put themselves into thte worst neighborhoods and situations possible.
But in Florida they may be different. Puc just do what you are told and you will be fine. Probation or parole are both very easy. Just stay off of drugs and don't get any new criminal charges. The charge you are on for is the least of their worries.

PO's in Atlanta and South Florida are nothing but glorified Admin Assistants. They can't do shit. If you flunk your drug test or get in trouble, they have to send a REAL police officer out to arrest you.

Why would anyone with a four year degree settle for $30K annually?
