Tips For Getting Utlra- Ripped

PANTS

New member
But I want to keep the mass I have achieved.
Finished 8 weeks of Clen+ Creatine (2 weeks), ECA (2 weeks) rotating.
At 6-7% Body Fat I have also gained good mass.
I'm looking for any tips for keeping my gains and getting ultra ripped for my holiday in 2 weeks time.
Should I cut out Sodium, reduce Carbs?
Should I keep taking the Creatine when on holiday to maintain mass even though I won't be training?
Any ideas appreciated.

bump... I want to know the same

All i can say is eat right, left heavy to keep your mass, get on the fat burners, and a nice cycle should do the trick... Also 30min cardio 3x per week at least

Creatine give you water retention

you may have 6-7% bodyfat, but it will look as if you have more.
If you want to keep the mass, harden up, no training, having great sex (afterall you are having holidays)
take Proviron. Now this is underestimated.

I like the old school method...keep the calories up and just do alot more cardio. I'm not talking some elliptical crap- I'm talking running stairs, interval training, hill running, jogging etc. You do that with diligence and train hard in the weight room and keep the clean calories high, you'll be a freakin machine- AD

try ketogenic diet, have you considered dnp?

No way. (Did I just say no to dnp? wtf?) In only 2 weeks, he could mess up the keto diet (especially if it's his first time), not to mention he would more than likely be flat. And dnp, well, he would burn fat, but he would be retaining water from it.

If he had maybe 6 weeks, sure dnp would be the way to go. Just stop it about 3 weeks out to make sure you are fully recovered and carbed.

keto is very easy, all you do is eat 12cal/lb of bodywieght, 30-40% protein and the rest is fat, keep carbs down to 20g/day. carb up after 4-5 days. dont see how this can be messed up

Maybe you haven't tried it. Is the keto diet simple? Yes, absolutely. Is it easy? No fucking way in hell. And if you ever give in to a carb craving, you kinda shot your wad so to speak. And if you have done this diet, you know most people feel like shit for the first 2 weeks when on it. And carb up after 4-5 days? No way, you carb up ONE day. Otherwise you risk gaining your fat back. Duchaine was a tad off when he recommended 2 days.

In fact, I wouldn't recommend this guy do anything different than what he's been doing. Let's be realistic here...2 weeks? That isn't enough time.

My advice? Go with what you got. :)

keto is the only diet i use to shed fat, im on it right now, i do 3-5 days of 0-20g of carbs and then carb up for one day, then back to low carbs again. i think its easy and very satisfying and i dont get the carb cravings

btw, on the carb-up day i eat anything i want (ice cream, burgers, candy you name it) and i dont gain the fat back, i gain about 1-2lb of water which is gone by the second day of low carbs.

Thanx guys. i'm gonna have to go with TxLonghorn on this one and stick to what Im already doing, don't want to risk losing my gains with shit like Keto diets etc.
Never tried Keto and don't intend to but I'm glad it works for your serge.
What about Sodium intake. And creatine: do I keep taking it when away even tho I'm not training?

cut out the creatine...whoever wants to get ultra ripped can't take creatine...it retains water/liquid not only in your muscle cells but in your fat cells as well

creatine bloats me, however some get good results from eat without any water retension, personally i dont like it

fyi...creatine + additionnal pottassium=no bloat...fuller muscles.you need the pottasium if you are experiencing the bloat.that's why some people get it and some don't.the ones who don't is because there's no pottasium deficiency.:fro:

keto diets suck and any other diet will work just as good and wont make you flat including the isocaloric diet. Just keep eating the same and up the cardio like somebody else said right now. oh yea and drop the creatine like a bad habit...it makes you retain water,

1)When you all say "drop the creatine" do you mean like straight away (7 days to go till holiday), or just before I leave?
2)I'm not really experiencing any bloat. Where would it be most visible? Round the abs/ mid-section?

yea drop it right now...so the water has time to leave your system bro. I find that creatine makes me retain subcuntaneous water all over my body especially my face. So if you want to look your best on your vacation drop it right now....but dont drop the carbs that much cus youll end up lookin flat and shitty. Have you ever seen how someone looks like when on a Keto diet??Not too good huh??

i see that not too many people here like keto, it does make you flat, but when you carb-up you look much better.

Cool, gonna drop the Creatine now. What about the Clen: continue that right?
What about Sodium and Protein/fat/carbs?

Cool. What about Sodium/carbs tho?
Also is it worth taking some Protein powder out with me to maintain some mass even tho I'm not training?

i agree cut the creatine, it will cause water retention...keep the clen for the additional fat burning/anti-catabolic effect. do ur 30 mins of cardio in the morning, wait an hour, and eat clean would probably be ur best shot. if u absolutly need results u could try a diuretic but i dont know how well otc ones work.

pure protein is always good, just ingesting protein without anything else has actually been shown to speed up ur metabolism ( i would assume b/c the difficult ur body has in converting it into glucose) Your body will also use this protein and not the protein in ur muscles for fuel.
