I know I spend too much toime in the gym (usually 1.15 to 1.1/2 hours) doing high volume (20+ sets), but some of the routines I've seen posted CAN'T take more than a half hour....how long are you guys in the gym daily? Don't feel the guilt of slamming food all day and then working out for such a short time...even if the intensity is cranked......or, are you resting 3-4 minutes between sets?
 
Right now, I'm doing a 5x5 type w.o.
I get in about 4:00-4:15, out anywhere from 5:05-5:35.
Fridays is back and shoulders, so it takes a little longer sometimes. 3-5min rest between 5rep sets, 1-2 min between 8-10rep sets.

When I was doing the HST thing, it was about and hour, maybe a little longer.
 
5x5 means im in there 45mins-1hr

other more high volume training puts me at the 1hr-1hr15min mark

i dont like to go more than 1 hr.....i remember reading some stuff on here about cortisol levels after an hour of training, while your post workout carbs should shut that down straight after workout i thouhgt it was prudent to keep the training time down
 
it depends, i do DC training, and the other day w/o a partner i was out in 40min, but the most it usually takes me is an hour
 
45 mins to 1 hour max. So much talk of high volume these days, good for burning calories if that is your goal, but it will not make you grow any faster
