Ive been on this board for years. Many of the vets here preach Time On = Time Off. So I do a cycle for 3 months, then a month of PCT, that means I stay completely off for 4 months. I completely understand the reasoning behind this. Mainly to get all your levels back to normal. Your natural test levels back up and all the other levels that have spiked during that month back to normal. For me, there was one particular instance where I was having some heart palpitations and dizzy spells. This was right at the end of a cycle, so I knew my #s were still off. It turned out to be caused by all the caffeine i was drinking and whatever stimulants were in these sports drinks. Anyway, they took my blood, everything was high, including my cholesterol #s. They wanted to put me on meds. I said no. I waited 3 months and had it re-checked. Cholesterol was back to normal.
So i do understand the importance of coming off. Obviously if I didn't come off I'd probably have a heart attack and my balls would stop working.
My cycles are relatively mild. Typically ill do a 12-14wk cycle consisting of no more then 500mg of test...mixed with 10 wks of tren (75mg oed) and 6 weeks of winny (50gm/day)....followed by 4 weeks of PCT (Novla & HCG)....its a good solid cycle.....i put on about 10lbs of mass...get lean and hard and strong...nothing over the top. After my PCT I keep my gains and strength for about 6 weeks. I keep my diet clean and train hard...then BOOM.....i seem to crash...Lose my strength...get fatter and lose that hardness.
Now I know many of you will ask about my diet, cardio, motivation, etc. Believe me when I say I do all the things I need to do to maintain my gains as best I can.
I also understand that I will lose some of my gains. My natural test is taking over (which has been read as low in the past). But I just lose so much so quick. it is very frustrating.
I dont mind being smaller and a little weaker. But its that hardness. The definition in my arms/shoulders that i lose. I look in the mirror now and I look like shit. I feel like shit.
There are guys in my gym that look good 365. Some of them have admitted to me that they don't come off. Other say they bridge from one cycle to another with small amounts of test (ie 250mg-500mg/wk).
So here is my question. What can I do to look good all year round. Or better yet, what can I do from prevent from crashing like this?
I seem to get by for about 6 weeks after the cycle.....but I need to go another 2.5 months without juicing. Then its like starting all over again when I start my next cycle.
