Time on = Time off.......yeah right!!!

The authors words are not the be-all end-all straight up factual truth. Take it all with a grain of salt.
You are correct. They are ONE persons opinions. My point in bringing it up was in response to the person that said I was beyond retarded. My opinion is that you can stay on for long periods of time and do it relatively safely. Does that opinion really make me retarded?

As I suspected I see different opinions and most notably, the people who I actually had in mind when asking the question, haven't even responded yet. But I do believe in the time off = time on, but I am also intrigued by the longer cycles as well. (Meaning 18+ months).

I posted this thread to try to get a REAL response from everyone here because it seems to me (and correct me if I'm wrong) that a lot of the guys on here (myself included sometimes) don't adhere to the time on = time off rule. I see guys post that they're done and going through PCT and then 1 month later I see them back on a cycle again. So, I was just curious to get some honest replies on how long (or how little) you guys wait until you hop on the wagon again.

to be honest, and this is just from hearsay, but the actual competition bodybuilders and guys that had been taking aas for years and years that ive met have mainly told me not to run more than 2-3 cycles a year max. i mean this is just hear-say and im not sayin make that religion, but just my 2 cents. IMO i think your body needs decent recovery length after any cycle just bearing in mind the fact of the possibility, for example, that your body can build up more receptor sites for testosterone each time you do it, and if you keep doin and doin cycles then relatively decent amounts become innefective. at least this is what ive heard.

I used to go with time on equals time off, but this past year I 'cruise' between cycles. That cruise can last anywhere from 3-8 weeks. Basically I just take a very lose dose of test (200-250mg) a week during that phase. But that wouldn't be good for everyone, nor am I recommending it. Either way you go, it would be best to get blood work done on a regular basis. It's nothing scary to do, but it can maybe prevent something scary from happening in the future!

Don't ever come "off" and you'll always be jacked and feeling great.....something most won't admit on the board.....but you'll die sooner... the animal studies are pretty damn clear on that...but you'll look and feel good..... :)

damn i hope that wasnt a serious post

I've said before that I dont go by the "time on = time off" thing. If that motto helps you out, then that's great.

As we all know there isn't any "true" medical studies of any of this stuff with humans. The only studies is you and I doing cycles upon cycles, followed or not, with PCT. So until someone can say 100% that cycling with TOff=TOn is the way to go then we ALL need to have an open mind as to what ideas are out there. Being IGNORANT to other ideas and theories about what does or doesn't work makes you just as bad as those "ignorant" politicians & media we all hate for not knowing what we think we know. So don't slam someone for never coming off nor slam somone for cycling, the truth is no one knows for sure. I have been in the AAS game for a number of years and just like anything else, views change, practices change, and the whole idea about what is or isn't right changed. So what was once an accepted practice in 2000 is frowned upon now as idiotic sometimes and attitudes like that hold all of us down. So just take a step back and try and reflect that there are ideas out there that you don't agree with today that will be right tomorrow.

OK..I will get off my soap box now. Sorry for the long post.
