not for me. yesterday i spent 7 hours driving what should've been a 4 hour trip back home. at the halfway point i stopped to eat mexican, then headed back on the road. hit the worst traffic i've ever seen about 40 miles after that due to all these spring breakers heading back to dallas. sat in that for 30 minutes going 5mph, then realized i left my cell phone at the mexican food restaurant. turned around, drove 40 miles back to get my phone, then headed back the other way. at the point where i knew the traffic was going to start, i began to head east for 40 more miles to hit another highway that leads into dallas so i could miss the traffic. got pulled over for 61 in a 45 in a podunk town on the way and did some moderate to heavy pouting in front of my girlfriend. finally got to the other highway and drove the 50 miles back to dallas to drop her off, then another 25 miles to get to my apartment. what should've been a 250 mile trip back home turned out to be around 450.
