Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I had blood work done and first thing they found was my test levels were really low, second thing was my thyroid is producing way to much hormone... Since my thyroid is putting out to much would that be why my test levels are so low? Not to mention that he wants to put me on t-4 to lower my thyroid, i always thought that it would raise my thyroid. Anyone know?

You're a little confused. Your thyroid hormone isn't high-- your TSH is high because you aren't producing enough thyroid hormone. That's why you've been prescriped T4.
T4 doesn't always help if your body can't convert it into T3. Take some 7 keto dhea along with it. If there's no improvement ask for Armour Thyroid which has both T4 and T3. Do not take cytomel.
And yes, it will effect T levels.
