several users have reported that it is substandard..(like the 80% material that some other less scrupulous companies are hawking R+) much like most of their line.. likely due to their sourcing issues (which allows such prices with still considerable profit..)
i got some vitamin shoppe ala, seems to be working alright, im controlling my weight as little better, and i did notice some new veins popping through. Whats the difference between reg. ALA and R-ALA??
It will cause the mitochondria in your muscle cells to work better, resulting in the muscle cells absorbing much more glucose than usual. So when you eat carbs they get parititioned to the muscle rather than the fat cells. Which holds down your insulin levels. Making you healthy, lean, and wise.
ffknight84, you should not use ALA you should be using Glucorell R which is r-ALA and Biotin. Go to www.glucorellr.com and read up.
The r-ala is a more potent form of ala. The regular ala is a mixture of s- and r- isomers. The r-ala can lower insulin plasma levels in insulin, but that wouldn't apply w/ the regular ala.
