Thumbs up for r-ala

With normal shipping how much of the r-ALA do you think will be destroyed if any?

unless it get really hot its not a big issue, but the summer months are here so.. and heat is not really good for supplements

beleive that AF is going to have a summer shipping program.. not sure of the details..

I see, I'm a little worried because I work for UPS and know how hot it can get in those trucks, which is usually 10 degrees hotter than the ambient temp.

Do you know the specific temp range at which it starts breaking down?

has anyone had any experience with BAC's r-ala. They claim it is 99.7% pure and is 20 grams of powder for $16.25

-thought I would throw in that it is currently not available, don't know if that is sold out or what.

Biotin is 50 grams for $8.50 i believe also.

several users have reported that it is substandard..(like the 80% material that some other less scrupulous companies are hawking R+) much like most of their line.. likely due to their sourcing issues (which allows such prices with still considerable profit..)

of course the cost of capping will be 10-15$ for caps, not counting time and accuracy-- something that always should be considered when purchasing powder

Thanks bro. Been thinking about trying r-ala out and considering options.

notoriousQQ

the issue with tests is that NONE of the companies that have them, which is few and far between at that, actually test the material properly.

even worse, the ones that do test it, albeit improperly (as they dont test for optical purity and rotation), use the merck 1956 optical standard as opposed to the more recent and quite different 1986 standard.

basically the tests put forth are tests of ALA content

for the proper testing procedure and an explanation see:

Any idea of when this will be? I have about 3 weeks worth left of r-ALA.
