Thoughts on first preseason games.

Have only seen the Giants so far.

Negatives. The OL played like shit. They were weak on running plays, and could have been responsible for QB deaths on passing plays. Seuburt in particular played horrendously.

Secondary was awful. Gabril Wilson especially was victimized all night.

Not really a negative but althoug Hasselback played well last night, in a real we would be screwed. He's a short range passer who the defense could play short against.

Positives

Carter once again. But he always plays well then gets sidelined with a season ending injury

I think Ponder lost his job last night to William Jennings.

And the star of the game was DE Kiwanuka. The Giants strength on defense is at the ends. Some good play as well from the young DT's

they looked allright but lets face facts they were going up against a patroits secound and therd string bench warmers.the big boys were all on the side lines.


pats look good ofansivly.they showed they can move the ball down the feild even with out brady.they have added some good players on offance.there new running back is sick.and its good to have some players back to.dont think we will se real pats football till week 5 thats when the sesoin starts to tern in there faver with home games and wether and some more players comeing of the injerd list.should be a ok year fore them.they will make the play offs.

I went to the Bucs game and they looked alright. The Jet's 1st string offense marched the ball right down the field on the Bucs like nothing but ended up turning it over.. The Buc's 1st string Offense looked pathetic as always.. David Boston didn't look too bad at all.. He was wide open a few times but the Tim Rattay was unable to hit him b/c he was being pressured.. Boston looks like a fucking animal out there, it's ridiculous..

Gradkowski, the Buc's 3rd string QB looked INSANE.. He has a fucking cannon, great accuracy, poise in the pocket.. He could be something special in the league.. Then again, he was going against the 3rd string defense so, I'm not going to get too excited about anything..

I think it's going to be a typical year for the Bucs.. Top 5 defense bottom quarter defense.. They MIGHT make it as a Wild Card.. If they do they'll be booted by a young team with a speedy offense.. The Bucs defense is aging and you could REALLY see it last night..

If any of our lb's stays healthy this year it has to get better

Im hoping the secondary surprises me. But I'm not very optimistic, especially after this game. They were awful.

Alex Smith, Antonio Bryant and Grank Gore looked solid yesterday. They also upgraded their line and defense this year...I'm fired up. I think the Niners have a good chance of going 8-8 this year.
