Thoughts on bread....

It seems like most people trying to bulk get their carbs from vegetables, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal.

But what about whole grain bread? Isn't that just as good a carb as oatmeal or brown rice?
 
Whole grain breads can be a good source of carbs. As long as you're not pigging out on it. I kept bread out of my diet for 2 years and recently added it back in. I eat a whole grain rye bread with flax and all sorts of good stuff in it. I've noticed no difference and I feel like my diet it a bit more balanced now.
 
chances are it's pretty good if it's label includes: 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat
I've never had a problem with this stuff. But like qriz1 said, it's best to use it in moderation
 
i used to eat whole wheat bread and get bloated(probley from the gluten). since i switched to ezekiel brand whole grain, i have no bloat after eating. i strongly recommend switching to whole grain bread if you're not doin well with whole wheat.
 
Yummmmie, bread my weakness!! Nothing like FRESH bread, nice and tosty warm and fresh...

Like everything else you have to sacrifice in order to achieve.... Latin
 
If I start eating bread, any type of bread it triggers carb cravings and then I am in deep trouble. I stay away from it because I cannot control myself just having one slice.

I avoid passing by any bakeries!!!
