Those Of You With Jeep Wranglers

And what is better now? A hummer? I can go more places, and catch more chic's with my jeep than any hummer. And please, don't even mention toyotas or nissans.

Can the clutch be adjusted so it grabs lower. I know it can be done on some cars. Thanks

What year Wrangler is it? (square or round headlights?) On my CJ7, adjusting the clutch throw is as easy as turning an adjustment nut to determine when the clutch engages. If yours is similar, it will be on the engine side of the firewall, towards the bottom (underneath the steering shaft). It will probably be easier to get to it from beneath the Jeep.

Before you go messing with it, get a Chilton's or Haynes manual. I personally have a Chrysler service manual for mine, but for most people that is way overkill. ;)

ok cool thanks for the info. It is square headlights YJ style. I should get the manual. I got one for another casr I owned but it had me do the most redundant things. I remember reading I had to remove a fender to change the brakes. Other than that there is some good info in there.

My Nissan will eventually pass up the Jeep dead due to mechanical failure on the side of the trail.

Heh, your Nissan can't go in the same caliber of off-road that most Jeeps can, it just doesn't have the articulation. Do you know how to disengange your anti-sway bar? If the answer is no, then don't even bother to argue. :D

YJs can be adjusted no problem. Get the Chilton's or Haynes manual as said above and it will give you instructions.

I have a 91 YJ that I use for off roading and such. 4inch lift, lockers, etc. I fucking love my Jeep, it kicks major ass and run better sometimes than most of the new cars I have.

As for Jeep themselves, anything that was made prior to 1992 or so kicks ass and they will run forever. After that year, Chrysler started to make them and I will not buy one.

Jeeps kick ass.

I never said it could. I'm not that off road Ignorant to argue that
a Pickup could out articulate a properly setup Jeep.

I just said eventually I'd pass by it broken down on the trail.
