before i get laughed off the board let me preface this a little. 2 nights ago at the gym i saw a guy doing isolateral exercises for his upper body but only the right side. he was lifty pretty intense but only his right upper quadrant. so i figured he had a shoulder injury on the left side. then last night he was working his left leg isolaterally, so then it was the lower left quadrant. so now i haw to know what the hell is going on with this dude. he explained workout program was based off the rehab theory that like when coming off a left knee rehab you work out your right leg to stimulate growth in the left because the body doesn't know the difference. so on his workouts are like this.
Monday -Right upper
Tuesday-Left Lower
Wednesday-Left upper
Thursday-Right lower
Friday- rest
Saturday- compound movements to tie the body's system together (DL's, claen and jerk, snatch and a plyo metric routine.)
Sunday- eliptical and swim.

So my feelings are this is either retarded or may just be genius. Actually I'm going with retarded but the theory seems sound. I was wondering if there were any thoughts on this. I can't honestly say I'm gonna try it but am really curious.

Retarded - except for Saturday - that is a great day.

Add weight to the bar weekly till you stall. THen rest for a few weeks. Take a week off every 8-12 weeks.

Rinse, repeat.

Don't for get to squat and drink milk. Food is good.

Retarded is what I thought as well. But I could make millions with it in hollywood. The saturday workout is pretty much my monday- friday.

I never understood why healthy people apply successful rehab strategies to their workouts. It's like trying to repair something that isn't broken.

It's like a Doctor saying not to squat... They are trained to treat sick people, not athletes

Oh I want to rehab every part of my body...this sounds great!!!!

Feel sarcasim? ;P

...If he's failing on every part of the body it's still good for building mass...but he's wasting a day basically
