pfft...not my doc...when he picks up his scrip pad, it's usually to write down a new supplement that he wants me to take, or to change the daily dose of one of my existing ones...can't remember the last time he actually wrote down a drug on one and sent me to get it filled.
 
They are trying to curtail prescription drug abuse, but the economics are against them.

If someone wants drugs, they can complain about back pain until one of two things happen:

1) Someone gives them the drugs they want.

2) They finally find an enthusiastic cutter who will do a two level fusion for a mere all-in cost of ~$30,000.

It's the new medicare!
