Y'know, like back in the day, where people on here seemed to genuinely hate each other, and that was allowed.

Flame wars, good arguments, telling someone they suck...all of this used to be commonplace.

Made for much better reading, IMO.

There's a difference between "politically incorrect" and "blatantly racist".

I think we've gone too far to the PC side of things.

And for the record: no, I'm not calling for a return of the good old days with all these old members back. The board is what we make of it. I just think we should tolerate more types of posts that are *not* PC, that might be a little insulting, that maybe make you a little bit mad, instead of this "look at the little fuzzy kitten" bullshit that seems prevalent right now.

This is the best way to get people thinking about their positions or lack of one.. There is a big difference between heated debate and hate IMO..

People are afraid to Generalize a Perception until that perception becomes reality. It is only natural to have initial perceptions, as long as you are open to changing that perception as reality sinks in.

I like Israel I just don't like the muslim religion and that is my right as an American not to like something is it not. You can choose to like a religion or not like one. That is freedeom of religion is it not? Btw I have my reasons for not liking the muslim religion.

I don't think it is very socially exceptable to saw someone's head off either. But we better not say nothing bad about those people because we need to be thoughtful and tolerant of their whacked out religion because that is socially acceptable. Well if that is what it take to be socially acceptable, I am glad I am not.

I know dude. I felt so sorry for those people and rage just came over me and that is when I lost my head and slammed them on a post and that is what got me banned.

But get use to it because beheadings are going to be the method of the one world govt to people that won't take the mark of the beast. Pretty weird that muslims use that method of execution huh. Peaceful religion give me a break.

My point about you and your posts is this: I couldn't care less if you are thoughtful and tolerant about another religion. However, your ability to intelligently express that opinion seems to be lacking. You've repeatedly shown that you're unable to grasp the notion that there's a difference between expressing outrage at a particular event and lashing out with epithets and slurs. You're only willing to see the extremes, not the area in between.

In any case, my point is not that I want more hate threads about any particular group. Like we need any more political or current event bullshit on here right now.

I am not going to generalize the muslim people as a whole because the actual religion of islam does not condone these actions. However, these perpetrators are barbarians and they use these scare techniques to induce fear in us as Americans.

I felt SO bad for them and their families. I wish I had not watched the videos. My mind is scarred.

I should not have watched them. I only started to watch one of them. I had to turn away. My God. I guess curiosity (or the devil himself) tempted me. I took the bait but turned away. I saw more than enough though.

To slam the people that carried out those executions is one thing. I think we all feel similarly on that issue. To slam the entire religion is a totally different matter. I have a number of Muslim friends, and if you did too, you'd realize that you're judging the entire religion on the actions of a few extremists.

It'd be like someone saying they hate Catholics, they abuse young boys. Because of the actions of a few.
