but i have decided now is the time to put politics aside and support our troops and president. i do not trust his policies nor do i condone this war but now is not the time to be slamming the pres but rather come together and and hope for a quick decisive victory. i would hope my fellow democrats would do the same, let the republicans sling the mud and look bad for the next election. i for one would like for them to stop the slanderous remarks and start standing behind our troops and give the president their support and help. once this is over then you can criticize all you want.

again, i do not support the war but am laying aside my content for this administation to show support for my american brothers and sisters over there. oh, and by the way, just found out i am the president's 6th cousin on my dad's side. now that freaks me out.

I agree.

Its funny how everyone yells and bitches when nothing is going on.

But once the shit starts, were all on the same page again.

War does this to people.

too true. it has to do with a common concern, we are at war, we need to stand united or we will fall. if morale drops at home and it reaches over there what effect will that have on the troops? certainly not positive.

I agree in supporting our troops.

Not voice dissent over admin policies? Not me. I'll stay quiet in terms of anti-war stuff, as long as things are going well and there isnt mass death of our guys or their civilians going on.

Otherwise? Will voice opinion as I see it.

i did'nt say i would'nt criticize his non-war policies, i'm speaking in sole terms of the war. i still think this admin's economic policies will ultimately fail and a recession will follow, like last time.

figured i'd be the bigger man than most people and stand behind the pres while we are at war but when it comes to some of his other policies, if i see something wrong with them i'll say something. i mean, he has a country to run and not just a war to fight.
