you're a fool, god told me so. pull your pants up over your skinny ass legs and take a walk. better yet, you go back to your church and you sign up for a mission to afghanistan. when you get there, you tell all the children eating rocks and sticks (bc thats all god ever gave them) that god gave you the strength to get through a set of squats with steroids. then, when you're all done with your bs story, you can roll up your jeans and compare your skinnies with their skinnies. dumbest thing ive ever heard: "jesus juices".

I never said God told me so.
I give all glory to God for everything.
Let's see your "massive" legs, post a pic with you holding a recent headline so we know it's recent and it's you.
Who said Jesus juices?
Broad is the road to destruction, many find it, so you follow your path and I will follow mine.
The Bible says a lot about "fools" and "foolish" people, and it is never referring to those who fear God, praise God, thank God, the Bible is referring to doubters and scoffers like you when the Bible refers to fools.

oh, ok. thanks for breaking it down for me. The "foolish people" part must be a line near the part that says "jesus eats dbol and breaks bread to carbo load before he and the disciples get their workout on"
"The person who wishes to boast should boast only of what the Lord has done." 1 Corinthians 1: 31
"What makes you better than anyone else? What do you have that God hasn't given you? And if all you have is from God, why boast as though you have accomplished something on your own?" 1 Corinthians 4:7
Jesus never said anything about steroids nor did he say a lot about other specific things that were not in existence (like aas, drugs other than wine -- e.g., pills, street drugs, etc.) during his life. How do I justify taking steroids instead of relying on natural training?
Because the Bible says: "Delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." I really love bodybuilding.
Other point is, the Bible does not say a lot about this/that is wrong, but it requires you to check your motives. So, I've had this dilemma about taking aas, based on my faith. The principles I rely on while taking aas are "Let nothing take the place of God in your heart" which to me means don't rely on and give credit to drugs or myself, but remain thankful to God and rely on him for the strength and motivation to eat right, train hard, and to make the surpassing of prior achievements or achieving goals a testament to God's glory, and not my own. Without God, I am Satan's puppet. I can easily start taking drugs and drinking and
then see how I look and how my bodybuilding accomplishments would begin to dwindle. (I am speaking from experience.)
Other principle from Bible: "Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust (2 Timothy 2:22) and seek that which makes you want to do what's right." SO, I have to remember, when I am looking buff and strong and cut, and women are noticing, I have to avoid the temptation, not commit evil with the gift God has given me, not contemplate adultery, but just train and achieve the physique that gives me great delight and use it for the glory of God, not to be used for evil -- i.e. coveting, adultery, sexual immorality.
Any bros (vets and mods) who know me from over the years know this is a new man talking. I've been through a lot over the last year and it's God that pulled me through the muck and mire I got myself into, and it's Jesus Christ who revealed to me He is Lord and He loves me.
Go back and check my old posts. I was a very un-spiritual person. BUT, now I give all glory to God. He and He alone deserves it. Again, without God, I am Satan's puppet. (Satan says: "Drink this, it will make you feel good" "swallow this pill," "snort this," "pursue women not your wife," "attack this person out of pride," ... the list is endless.)
And remember, God opposes the proud. Who am I to take credit for what God has given me? (because I know that I asked God for what I have; so, how can I now take the credit???).
THAT IS WHERE I AM COMING FROM, BROS!
I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE EVER FOR WITNESSING FOR OUR LORD. AND I WELCOME ANYONE'S PERSECUTION OF ME FOR MY DEVOTION TO OUR LORD BECAUSE, AS THE DISCIPLES SAID IN THE BOOK OF ACTS, IT IS AN HONOR TO BE BEATEN AND FLOGGED AND JAILED FOR YOUR DEVOTION TO OUR LORD, CHRIST. ("So you must never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord." 2 Timothy 1:8)
So, I welcome your persecution.
I am a new man fellows. I still love bodybuilding. But I have to remember "God gives and God takes away," "God opposes the Proud but blesses the humble," "Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart," and there's a lot more in the Bible to affirm what I am doing so long as it is with the right motives (not evil motives) and so long as my faith remains strong. Remember, a convicted criminal, nailed to a cross next to Jesus, through faith, was assured by Jesus that, this day, we shall be in paradise together.
Again bros, peace. I am a new man. ("What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:17) But I still love to train
And I went 8 months cold turkey until I was able to learn from Bible and confirm that the Bible is not against bodybuilding or taking steroids, so long as my motives are pure, not intended for evil
My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, so I should build it so it brings glory to God but remember never to use it for evil. ("No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church." Ephesians 5:29) "Run from sexual sin!No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself. For God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body." 1 Corinthians 6:18-20.
I know this sounds like gibberish to many: "But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means." 1 Corinthians 2:14
And for those who continue to scoff and ridicule and do not believe, there are many many more just like you. For Jesus said: "I am not saying these things to all of you. I know the ones I have chosen." John 13:18
