After reading Kak's original post, provided by a good 17 year old bor who saved it, and this thread which contains responses from people like KB who seem to be standup peoples, I have come to the following preliminary conclusions:

1) Raina was a bitch to you.

But prior to that she was saying everything under the sun to rope this guy in.

2) It's because you didn't turn her on in real life.

3) That makes her pretty much like any other girl you'd be setup with and then have a bad date.

This situation is a little bit different then just some blind date gone bad. She was aware of what she was getting into and the expectations that were being set.

If she was disgusted and turned off, she should have told him. Fuck call him even if it would be too difficult in person. Tell him to leave early, make other arrangements to get to the airport, etc. Don't pussy foot around the truth and go home and send dirty text messages to another dude.

7) Taking all that's been said and everything in 1-6, she's probably being painted to be worse than she is.

Like I said, a lot of the blame goes on Kak for sure. There should definitely not have been expectations of anything emotional or romantic with someone you've never met.

But the trip and visit was planned jointly. I don't know what you all think here, but if I invite someone out to visit me, I am going to at least be civil with them. I don't care if I hate your guts, I'd accomodate you the best I could, and if I couldn't I'd let you know why I couldn't and present some alternatives. I couldn't just leave someone hanging in a stange city when the only reason they were there in the first place was to see me.
