Listen, I have tried to be nice and professional about this, but we are close to filing a complaint now.

This is one small site and is not the only problem one, but has been the focus of the last several days. I was told by a moderator there that they had announced that they were going to stop PMing our members asking them to come over to their board. However, it is still happening. I had to warn another mod over there yesterday, and now today I see that they are signing up as names and not posting but just sending PMs.

Listen up IT people, this is going to stop now. We are prepared to file a complaint with your ISP for this behavior and do whatever it takes to stop you from doing this. If it means we have to ban every mod from that place we will do so. The admin over there need to act professional and stop this action.

For whatever reason they cant get members by being a good board, so they feel that they need to do this to drum up members, thats sad actually. Go do it somewhere else, or you will be forced to stop.

Thanks to all the members that keep sending me the PMs, and such. Shows that you are not stupid enough to get pulled over to a whole in the wall board that can't recruit members in a professional way.

Its almost like a scammer that solicits via PM. All of you say, what kind of real source would do that? Well, the same for these boards, what kind of real board would have to get members like this....sad.

Stop it now, or all of your mods will be banned from this site. All of your ISPs will be warned, daily if we have to. Any other action we can take will be taken.

Terminator, you know I do not want to do that at all. You and a few others are great members of the board but this is just getting crazy. Why iceman feels the need to do this is beyond me, but it cant be hidden from us as we are going to find out. Yesterday I had to warn another of your mods of there, that posts here. This was after you and I spoke. Today, I got 3 complaints from members, but had already caught another alter ego that was just sending PMs to people.

Thanks for your professionalism, but I hope you understand that we will do whatever we need to do to protect our members from this action, not to mention protect our member base.

If this continues to happen PLEASE give me a PM so WE can take action, it is more of an IT responsibility then yours, we (me term canuck drvee liftsiron gilly etc) spend alot of time here and want to continue to help out as much as possible.

EF SAM: I concur with JC...if there is in fact a a problem we are unabe to identify internally, feel free to handle this professionally and email/PM one of the MODS over there. Just as YOU cannot possibly control EVERYTHING that goes on here, neither can we @ Intense-Training. Rest assured, a PROACTIVE stance is already underway. We have already posted about this in our MOD forum and are currently attempting to remedy this situation. However, as stated before, feel free to help us identify the specifics of this problem as currently; we are unaware WHO is soliciting your members.

I DO find it ODD that I-T is on trial here as this "soliciting" via PM's has been going on here for some time!

I along with Terminator, Canuck, Gilly, LiftsIron, and JC have all been members of this board for a LONG time and have contributed a GREAT deal of knowledge along side the obvious Platinum membership fees we've paid for years now as well. We have ALL also witnessed the solicitation from other boards. Why are WE being singled out!?!?!

Before I respond just a quick point. Terminator, Canuck, Gilly, LiftsIron, JC and yourself are all great people and wonderful members of our board. I want you to know that I realize that and I think highly of all of you. BUT you should also understand that some of these same people did in fact do what I am saying here. We worked it out via PM, then it continued with other people. So thats why I made the point about the mods. Not a personal attack or anything, its just where it started. Please be very clear that I totally respect you guys and you are all an asset to Elite Fitness.

As for this going on for years, yes I realize this. However, it has gotten very bad over the last few months. It used to be that guys got permission from a mod or admin before posting and such about their board. Then it just got ugly and people started milking members via PM and such.

I posted the other sticky about the boards NOT just because of IT, but because of a few other boards that were doing it non stop. So we are not picking on IT here at all, so please understand.

Thanks to you all for trying to fix this and I sure hope that other people see this thread and understand that this activity should not happen at all this way.
