I am not saying all women are like this, I am only analyzing a certain type of female.

typical club hopper chick....... from head to toe

fake hair (extensions)

fake eyebrows (make up)

fake eyes (contacts)

fake eye lashes

fake nose (nose job)

fake lips (collagen and lipstick)

fake teeth (veneers)

fake skin (tan)

fake face (botox)

fake boobs (implants)

fake nails (glue ons)

fake toe nails (paint)

anything else I missed ?

I just feel sorry for you ladies that do this, It seems like so much trouble !!! It is so fake too, without all this who are you really ? you look like a totally different person.

so when you really look at it this way, guys are naturally better looking.... we dont have much of fake anything.

what you see is what you get :)

I feel what you are saying, however, the women who go to all this trouble dont do it to appeal to other women.

If MANY MEN did not find this "look" appealing then NO WOMEN would do this.

Men are visually driven creatures - a fact that is undeniable.

Have you ever seen a metrosexual? These dudes spend more time primping than the women you mentioned.

WTF is up with that? LOL

It's sad actually.....women or men who need to prep themselves this much are basically insecure. The energy they put into all that prep can be used to work out and gain some real self esteem

Some do...I mean I get if a women is not given beauty, and manuf. some beauty is cool, but not to the point where it breaks a man or women down to having no self esteem.
Working on what God gave you is so much sexier....don't you think guys?!
 
There's nothing wrong with primping. Packaging is part of the product, people. It's not insecurity unless a particular person is insecure - it's playing the game.

Not really. At least not when a woman chooses a perspective mate.

I could care less what a man looks like.

I didnt make it a habit to date attractive men. I only dated men that I found to be stunningly beautiful and I married Santa Claus. LOL

And those women that are soooooooooo into all the "falseness" know exactly what they are doing. They are seeking men who could give a fuck about them and who they are. No need to feel sorry for the men or the women. They are putting out what they seek to find.... willing participants all of them.

That is THE ONLY time I primp. I ALWAYS want to put extra effort into making my man feel like he is "worth it". He is not "some dude". He is MY HUSBAND.

My husband has seen me in ways that no one would find attractive and he always tells me and shows me that I am beautiful to him.

Too many women let themselves go after they are in a committed relationship, not a good thing. Men are very sensual creatures. They are first and foremost attracted to what they see, smell and touch... then comes the mind and heart.

What you have described here is a mature relationship.
I think it's great when two ppl keep themselves in great shape for one another, but to the point of everything false (lashes. boobs, hair etc) then it becomes a self esteem thing.

fake hair (implants- restoration leaves a weird scar on the back of the head and dont forget the dye to cover the gray)

fake eyebrows (dyed)

fake eyes (contacts)

fake eye lashes ( again dyed)

fake nose (nose job)

fake boobs (yes men get implants too)
fake butt -implants again

fake lips (collagen )

fake teeth (veneers)

AAS and teeth is maybe the only thing on there I'm guilty of.

I don't primp up much at all... every now and again I have an urge to go get a medi and pedicure, some new makeup and my eyebrows waxed. I do have fake boobs though. I however don't do it for anyone else, I do it formyself. I don't over do the makeup or the hairstyles. I haven't been in a tanning booth in ... whew... long damn time.

I'll put in some contacts sometimes, just because I am feeling spunky.

This can be said for both sexes though, and beit hair, makeup, nails, dressing to impress, buying expensive jewerly. We all do things to make ourself more appealing to the opposite sex.

Thank gosh my man loves me for me. He see's me straight out of the shower, wet hair, now makeup... and still loves me. He actually prefers me that way. Loves when I dress down, just casual and comfortable. A pair of jeans and nice top, heels or boots.

I don't think dental cosmetics is quite the same. If someone has very bad teeth and never smiles, well that is just sad. Everyone should smile. If like (who's that teeny bobbin fruit cake girl Duff), if like her you get your beautiful teeth changed to make them look perfect, then there is an issue...
I think prepping to feel good is ok, b/c it's GREAT to feel good, but to spend a large portion of your time (not to mention money) to get all fixed up, is not constructive.
All women are beautiful. If you are overweight, work out, if you have bad teeth, get them fixed, if you hate your boobs, get em done, but if you need to consume your life with prepping then there is an issue.

Well, what is wrong with that? I don't want him to roll over one day and wonder...wtf?
It makes me feel good about myself to primp a bit. I don't even do have of what was listed but I do wear make-up and I do straighten my hair and paint the toe nails. oh and when I start to go gray, I will color my hair. For me it is about feeling good about me


oh and I just thought of another one...people who tan. I use to do that but it's to bad on your skin, I want to hold back the wrinkles for as long as I can.

I don't think so. My wife got implants because her body fat was so low, a 34 A was baggy on her. A lot of dresses and blouses didn't look the way she wanted them to, so she got them. She doesn't flaunt them or show them off, so I'd have to say no, they don't define her. She also got veneers because she wasn't happy with her teeth. Her family doesn't have the best teeth, so she did that and her self esteem has improved. They don't define her.
