HBO did this fuckin documentary on this family in the backwoods down south. This had to be single handedly the biggest hick family ever. now, after a few weeks of following this fucked up family around, one of the kids, who was like 38 years old still living at home in the trailer, was arrested for his 18th public intoxication ticket. Now, he was looking at 2 years in jail and was given a $6,000 bail. Not wanting this fuckin drunk hick in jail, the family decided to all come together and raise the money. After they all ( 6 famlies) put their money together they had a total of $1200. Being short of the bail, these fuckin retartds had a bake sale in hopes of coming up with the rest. That only brought them 38$ total. They all them went and took 2nd mortagages on their houses. They still only had a total of $4000. Realizing they were just about the worlds biggest loosers, they said fuck trying to get their son out of jail and had a big party which was fucked up when the uncle got drunk and beat the shit out of his wife and trashed everyones homes. WHAT THE FUCK......hicks, gotta love em....

it aired for the first time a few weeks ago, but they will rerun it like 100 times. Another funny part i forgot to mention is this kid was mowing lawns for like 7 years to save up enough money to buy a bus ticket to L. A. so he could live there, He finally left and came back 3 days later.....

This might be it.........

AMERICAN HOLLOW
This richly textured, feature-length documentary tracks one year in the lives of the Bowlings, a poor Appalachian family struggling to survive in a prosperous America that has seemingly bypassed their isolated hollow in eastern Kentucky. At the heart of this intimate family portrait is 68-year-old Iree Bowling, matriarch of a sprawling clan that consists of her 13 grown children, 30 grandchildren, ailing mother, brain-damaged sister, and shiftless husband. The film focuses on several of the familyÕs individual stories, each of which is shaped by the powerful family bond that keeps the Bowlings together - no matter what.
