This Board - 1999/2000

I joined late '99/early '00 (a few months before the date by my name) There were only a few boards then. No chat board just Anabolic, Training, Supps, Womens etc. It was cool then but I think its better now. Seems like the posts had to be approved before they went through making it take longer to get replies but I don't remember for sure.

the board was talk of gear, nutrition, training... and very little bullshit went on... it was a great time...

I liked it better before the midgets only board came out.
those guys are always looking for some break, and if I try to go and read in there, they steal me lucky charms and run off into that secret door in their tree factory.

It kicked the proverbial ass. I joined in February of 2000, when I was still in school and starting my first cycle. The best info is from that time frame that you mentioned.

Each post had 40 replies, and within each came a mix of answers based upon. fact, science, experience...etc.
Alot of the bullshit that we see now was not tolerated at all then....you got banned very quickly, and no BUTS
The board has changed, names have come and gone...but it still beats the rest by a long shot...

okay, can you tell me how you are doing searches that go back that far? I thought the archives were lost with the move to the new board - or did they only bring over the anabolic board?
I'm fine with that, I don't see why the others need to be brought back and the anabolic one does have very good reasons to.

the board was MUCH better. i havent even been to the anabolics board in a long while. last time i popped on, there was free talk about this supplier or that product from "you know who". that shit wasnt tolerated back then. people were just referred to as 'friends' or my source. its becoming so mainstream, i just left. anabolic fitness took the place of the elite anabolics board of old. ah well. it was fun while it lasted. the good bros go when it gets too full of knuckleheads. not saying there arent any good bros left, but as you can see, there were an assload of good informative posts from that timeperiod.
I thought there must have been somekind of filter in the information as like I said, there is no bullshit in the archives from that time.
How big is the archived data from 1999-2000 ?
Why dont you offer the information to the masses somehow?? You could split it by category or body part or at least make the search engine more flexible, I could spend my life in there sometimes.
I'm no guru, and without being disrespectful its plain to see the differences between the training boards of old and today.
I think the archives are the bollocks, but they are huge!

Monday, we will announce a lot more moderators, this should help. And as I have said many times, this board will be only as good as we make it.
I personally think that the board is much better now. The technology is superior, and we are reaching three times as many people as we did before. Unless the masses know about our beliefs and brand of fitness, then things will never change.

There are as many or maybe more interesting posts now... The thing is they don´t get as noticed as before because the traffic has increased alot and you see peeps with 3+ aliases...
