thinning hair

alltraps

New member
ive always had thin hair, as does my old man, but no male patern baldness in my family. ive noticed, as have other people that my hair is really thin lately. i know that propecia and other hair products work for MPB, but would it work for me? its thin in the male patern areas, above the temples.

its rough bro...I am whicked thin and seems like I am wasting mad loot on stuff that isn't working. I'm going to keep trying for 3 months and then if that doesn't do it I'm going back to the shaved head.

alltraps...don't wonder why your hair is thining if you used winny for 9 months.....winny is very bad for your hair bro....

As we have all heard they say that you inherit MPD from the mother’s side. MPB is all about the DHT levels. If your hair has always been thin is it because of DHT levels? One wouldn't think so because your hair has always been thin. Although it may not be due to MPB per say, because your not genetically predisposed to MPB, but since you have reported your hair has started thinning recently it could be DHT related. Stress, diet, certain "supplements" OTC or otherwise, (environmental) exposure to various things, are all factors. As I'm sure you know all the avacores and rogains are DHT inhibitors as well as Propecia. These could be a routes to take to see if they may help with the hair regrowth. In my humble opinion you might consider a type of scalp cleanser and try a thickening shampoo such as the Suave, or Loreal for men (cheap and OTC). Oh there is also brand of shampoo and conditioner that is excellent, esp. the conditioner; it's called "Mane-n-Tail" if I remember correctly. I think it was originally used for horses, thus the name lol. Most Wal-Mart's should carry it. Those are all a good place to start, in my opinion, and definitely much cheaper than the "DHT inhibitors" prescription or not. First you need to verify if it's DHT related or genetic. Sounds like DHT, off hand, due to the fact that it's thinning lately. Would have to know more information regarding your diet, supplements, and otherwise. Hope this rambling helped a little.

niema problemu.....niemam...ale planuje kupic: Nizoral 2%, Nioxin, 5% Azelic Acid, and 80 polysorbate shampoo.

How does that go again...the MPB via genetics. Who will i be able to determine this by...my father...grandfather.....?

TBH, I think if you are fighting a losing battle with hairloss its better just to admit that you have something that 60% of men the world over have - MPB. Its not a crime.

I got hair transplants, but even that has only helped to give me modest hair. There's still no disguising the fact that I have light hair. If I had a second day I'd get the razor out and be done with it.
