Think I found the ULTIMATE Post-workout combo!

Oatmeal and dex don't weigh the same bro :)

Just like a half cup of styrofoam peanuts and a half cup of real peanuts don't weigh the same.
 
My meals prior and post look like this:

1 hour before workout, 100g cabs slow ones like oatmeal + water then into the micro and eat with milk. Plus slow acting protein like fish.

Post workout: 70g dextro + 50g Whey Isolate, 10g creatine, 500mg ALA(icemans)

Post wokrout meal 1 hour after the drink

120g carbs from rice or pastal.
300g meat
500mg ALA
500mg C-vitamine
 
I just drink my shake and eat a carb meal. If I can't eat much then I will just take some simple sugars like a glass of cranberry juice (probably not as good as dextose but oh well).

yes as a matter of fact shake up the mixture of powders before you add the water and the whole deal dissolves better than whey alone.
