IMO if drug companies wanted to focus on creating kinder, gentler and more effective steroids (or supplemental drugs to make existing steroids work better) they could easily do it. these are very old drugs. but, there's more money in other types of drugs and steroids carry a stigma because of so much abuse. so they spend their R&D on other shit.

Which leaves a great big door for smaller companies and or scientific personnel to develope new avenues....the money that could be made- would be staggering.....yes" they" carry a stigma...but only in the open forum....professionals in all aspects of all sports know that a new discovery would be of biblical proportions...not to mention the commercial/ retail arenas....maybe some day.....
