Things I don't udnerstand part 3

I do the same routine every other day (bench, curl, back work out, shoulders and situps) 3x5 on arms and 5x5 on back-

A.) I've never had a skin problem, but my back is breaking out horribly- I don't care really, because I always wear a shirt- but is this some reaction or just increased horomones?

B.) I can't curl more than 70lbs, not because my muscles are tired but I my tendons in my forearms and elbow inflame so bad I can't work out for a few days afterwards. Just picking up the bar sends a sheer lock pain and I have to stop before I really ever get started.

C.) Any one exercise I can do to get rid of my lovehandles? Seems like my fat left my upper body and decided to store there-

D.) My bench is increasing very slowly, like 5lbs a month- I max out at 140ish but can do 3x5 with 115ish-

E.) Are legs vitally important? I dont' want to neglect them, but I'd rather focus on upper body.

F.) I have strength gains, but not really gaining muscle mass anywhere but my pecks and biceps. I don't understand because I work everything equally hard but my pecks are growing out of proportion with my body- Getting insane stretch marks but my man boobs are disappearing :P

Thanks again...I hope someday I can understand this stuff sheesh

My diet is good and my supplement intake is good, I get plenty of sleep (7-10 hours) I think my build is way off for body building (I'm 6'5" and have a 6'9" wingspan...skinny ass arms) but I want to get built up...does my bone structure have a HUGE effect on my maximum size? I am just afraid I'll get a built midsection with these toothpick arms and look like a wierdo :P

Thanks for reading this even if you don't reply

how much do u weight dude? BF%? age? lifting experience? sports background/history?

A) this has nothing to do with training.. might be what you're eating and lifestyle..

B) u gotta post your typical routine for us to judge.. take a week off or something.. deloading and resting is important..

C) abs are made in the kitchen, and cardio too..

D) you're not eating enough maybe.. how's your technique?

E) improvement on your legs(squat) will GUARANTEE improvements upperbody wise.. legs and back should be the heart of any training program..

F) eat, eat, EAT! eat clean and lots! www.fitday.com to get u started on finding out your diet plan..

post up your daily caloric intake and supps..

the way i see it.. all your problems come from 1 source..

you're not eating enough..

Yes, the one where you stop shoveling food down your pie hole. Very simple. LoL

Question?

Squats are the most important exercise you can do period. You MUST do then as low as your body will allow. Your balls should touch the floor.

My balls touch the floor when I hit parallel, still, I fling them over my shoulder and go below parallel... waaaay below :D

I'm 21 6'5" 210, still a little chubby- I never did sports...all through highschool I played everquest and weighed 300lbs LOL What I'm really kinda pissed about is my genetics...I'm overweight and I wear 36x40 pants...if I lost the weight I should I'd prolly be in 33X40's or something awful. I have stick figure forearms but huge legs (go figure)

You have to squat or you will be banned. It's in the TOS.
What carlsuen said- it doesn't develop just your legs but builds a level of anabolic readiness for your entire body because of all the various interactions that go on.

If you can't do barbell curls try dumbell hammer curls. They're a bit easier on the tendons. Cables can help also. It's better than killing yourself. Pull ups work well also.

Losing fat while preserving lean mass isn't an overnight process and takes some planning. There's lots of info to be found in the diet forum. Many of these variations in your symmetry are temporary as your body undergoes transformation. Some areas will initially grow faster than others. But if you keep a balanced routine your physique will eventually normalize. Everyone has their own personal idiosyncracies to deal with. Being tall isn't necessarily an obstical to overcome.
