Thick Abs

How many of you have found that heavy squats + gear = thick less defined abs even at low body fat levels? I average about 6% body fat, 0 noticable fat but always have "thick" abs - everything else is totally shredded. Didn't have this problem before I started heavy squats all the time - hell, I like them too much to stop!

are you talking about the actual thickness of the muscle, or more fat distribution over it?

I've found that when I am on aromatizing gear, in particular test, I tend to accumulate alot more lower body and abdominal fat, even if everything else is hard and cut. this is simply our lovely friend "estrogen related fat distribution pattern."

Could be fat but I mainly stay with hard non-aromatizing like Halo/Winny/Tren and my good friend MR. Abomb (when combined with Winny it's a real pal!). Checked my fat in the ab area several times and it appears to be somewhat overgrown muscle (even had others check to make sure I was doing it right).. Also, there may be excessive water retention so I'm trying some Lipoderm-Y to see if that helps.

Could be PGS!

Do some vaccums and see if that helps!

Also how do you like the Lipoderm??
Also try to keep your stomach tight when doing heavy squats and any other movement. look at yourself while doing your squat look to see if you push your gut out, that will make your midsection bigger. I have seen guys pusshing their guts out when bench pressing heavy as well.

Yeah, I don't think I concentrate enough on sucking in my gut while squatting. I tighten my abs but I don't vacum enough.. As far as diet, I like the Keto-cyclic approach while maintaining - low carbs, high protein all week - weekend crank up the carbs..

Lipoderm-Y seems pretty good, PD uses a potent carrier as this shit heats up your abs quick along with a good surge of Yohimbine into your blood stream. Already tightening on the one area thats a little flabby - a small "puff" on my back noticeable when I wear shorts..

Sounds like your subcutaneous fat levels are low, but that your visceral fat levels are high enough to give your abs that "thick" look.
But that seems to be a problem among th etop pros too- ripped to the bone, but big guts when they relax.
Except for Oxandrin I don't know of any AS that specifically lowers visceral fat. If you are using Insulin and/or GH that could significantly contribute to your problem.

Actually, I think heavy squats and deadlifts have made my abs alot better. They're alot deeper and MORE defined. I used to do alot of reps with no weight for my abs, believing that would keep them smaller and better looking.

After I do heavy movements my abs are sore. this doesn't happen all the time but happens quite a bit to me.
I just really concentrate on make sure my abs are tight and not relaxed.
